The Wedding Show hosted by Forever Bridal in Raleigh, NC on Jan2-3 was the scene of a fabulous fashion show featuring dozens of dresses by internationally renowned designers. The local brides to be and their entourages were treated to a special feature in the show this year by the addition of a complete line of Swarovski Crystals and Pearls made into bridal jewelry. This is the first year that Forever Bridal has had jewelry in their show and the models were ecstatic with how the jewelry complemented their dresses. Every model was outfitted with the perfect complimentary bridal jewelry set moments before stepping out on stage.
The professional jewelry designers from Silverland Jewelry and their apprentices worked feverishly backstage to see that every model had just the right jewelry set on to bring out the best qualities of the dress. This was a staggering accomplishment. There were 4 shows daily over both days with an average of 25 bridal, mother of the bride, bridesmaids and flower girl ensembles. The stage was dazzled with the sparkle of the Swarovski crystals when the model brides took the runway. Amazing crystals such as fireballs, teardrops and briolettes danced under the lights and flash of cameras. The whole auditorium was captivated by this superb show. Several wedding gown vendors said the bridal jewelry made the gowns stand out.
“The response from the crowd was amazing,” said Cynthia Balacco, Lead Designer. “I loved the actual “ooohs and aahs” I heard from the audience, and even after the fashion show, the brides came up to get a closer look.”
One model commented, “The jewelry is so beautiful that I really thought it was very expensive, but the thing is that it is very reasonably priced. I hope we can wear this jewelry at every fashion show in the future. I will probably buy some for myself, even though I am not getting married. It will be great for lots of occasions.”
