MTV reports that the finale was up 30% from the previous series high, aka last week's episode, and Jersey Shore's finale audience was "more than triple the series debut" of the dismal 1.4 rating. Critics have panned the show but the growing audience has fueled speculation of a second season.
And apparently viewers stuck around after the finale to catch up with the cast members during Jersey Shore: The Reunion, which delivered a strong 4.0 among the 12-34 demo with more than 4 million viewers.
