Alii (Palauan for Greetings) ~
It’s an exciting year for Palau, Micronesia with great news inspiring increased interest in this number one diving destination. In addition to it’s distinction as one of the “Underwater Wonders of the World,” Palau was recently recognized at the United Nation’s Conference as the world’s first official shark sanctuary. In support of this honor, and in order to maintain preservation of the many shark species, Palauan tour operators are hosting a number of educational events throughout the 2010.
In addition to the most amazing diving venues, and shark preservation efforts, Palau is also “host” to such great story topics as World War II, swimming with jelly fish, adventure, eco-tourism, romance, families and history, to name a few. There are unique ways to approach any of these story ideas, and I am happy to help you develop one-of-a-kind angles that will capture the most widespread interest.
I’ve pasted a list of some of Palau’s “assets” below and I’m happy to forward additional information and stunning photos should you have an interest in exploring Palau.
Mesulang (thank you) for considering Palau for your 2010 travel assignments.
