Earthseeds Award Winning Environmental Educational Materials Now Available for Earthday Celebrations

Earthseeds announces its renowned Parent’s Choice Award winning environmental education materials are now available for Earthday 2010 celebrations.  Earthseeds’ extraordinary curriculum and support resources are designed to make ecological issues relevant, interesting and inspiring for K-6 grade school children.  With increasing challenges to our communities’ growth and the planet’s health, Earthseeds believes that it is essential that children develop an awareness and appreciation of the Earth as a living system, as well as the importance of maintaining it sustainably.

Earthseeds was founded 10 years ago by former national park ranger, Mark Joyous, who believes it is important to teach about our home, the Earth, in a non-political and non-confrontational format.  The EarthSeeds Curriculum, created through a partnership with Presidential Award for Teaching winner DeLene Hoffner and nine leading educational organizations, has been influential in thousands of classrooms around the world for years.  Our beautiful Earthball, a 16” photo-realistic globe was created through a partnership with NASA and Orbis Inc, and supports the curriculum.  Our materials are now available at a discount for all educators and teachers worldwide.
