A Mid-Winter Medley Showcase On January 31

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 21, 2010 - Free Yourself from the Winter doldrums! The Southern Mass/Northern RI Chapter of the Northeast Belly Dance Association, also known as The Shimmy Sisters, is proud to  present 'A Mid-Winter Medley' to benefit the victims of the Haitian earthquakes.

This Showcase will feature Shimmy Sisters members and friends from beginner to professional. Currently scheduled to perform are: Devorah, Miera, Baseema, Aneckha, Maatkare, Belly Dance Collective, Haleema, Sumora, Jihanna, Morgana, Neylan, Sabrina and Odalisque, Ameena, Anam Cara, Nehira, Samara, and Deborah.

The venue for this extraordinary fundraiser, being held on January 31, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., is the Foxborough Universalist Church, UUA, located at 6 Bird Street (on the common) in downtown Foxborough. Tickets to the show are $12 and will be available at the door. All proceeds of the showcase will be donated to CARE, a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty which is providing aid and emergency team members to the ravaged country.
