The Queen Elizabeth was unveiled at shipbuilder Fincantieri’
The new Queen Elizabeth ship weighs over 90,000 tons and has a total capacity of 2092. Amongst the vessel’s features and facilities are the Garden Lounge, inspired by the conservatories at the Kew Gardens in London, and the Games Deck, where guests can participate in a number of traditional 1930s activities, including bowls, croquet and paddle tennis.

The Queen Elizabeth will sail on its maiden voyage from its homeport Southampton in October this year. The ship will sail a number of Mediterranean and Caribbean cruises, before departing on her first world cruise in January 2011, and meeting up with its sister ships, the Queen Victoria and the Queen Mary 2, in New York shortly afterwards.
