20 January 2010 - The time has come has come to make “mindless entertainment”
a tad less “mindless”
, yes my friends the time has come for – The Zeitgeisty Report.
Not satisfied with most of the so called “entertainment”
sites clogging up the internets, which merely regurgitate the daily headlines like a nauseous feline? Zeitgeisty (a rogue reporter who has written for various online periodicals including; Nerve.com; The Faster Times; The NY Press and Serious Eats) decided it was time for a different take on things.
Usually with blogs like Just Jared, D-Listed and Perez Hilton, the focus is strictly image oriented, with as little actual commentary added as humanly possible. This leaves out a whole section of society! Intelligent folks in dire need of some quality diversion have been left out in the cold for too long now.
All this poses the question, “Where can people with half a brain go to waste time when they’re bored at work?”
The answer is The Zeitgeisty Report.
Zeit has put together a new kind of site, a thinking man’s Perez Hilton if you will, which will dish out the daily headlines in hilarious fashion, but will also try to infuse it all with a bit of insight. Additionally, there’ll be plenty of interviews, random musings, top 10 lists and celebrity gossip to keep folks tuned in 24/7.
In Zeit we trust.

About Zeitgeisty Report: For years now I’ve been writing for others; Nerve Magazine; The Faster Times and even Walrus Comix. From now on, I will be the master of my domain, and with this responsibility comes.. uh.. responsibility.
I promise to keep content flowing like warm nectar oozing out of a rotten peach – I pray you’ll pardon this disgusting imagery. You’ll always find something new to hold your interest every time you check in. Whether it be a new article, a random musing, or some other silliness, it will be fresh and steaming.
Now, I turn to you dear readers. YOU must do your part as well. This is a symbiotic relationship, there can be no art without an audience.
Yes damn you it’s art! Stop your snickering.
I expect you all to comment heavily, and take part in the conversation.
Onward and upward dear readers, I expect to be hearing from you. Let me know you’re breathing!
