Dance lovers can 'foxtrot back to fitness' from next week when the 2010 series of Definitely Dancing nights are launched at The Jam House, Edinburgh.
The first of the monthly sessions, hosted by Erik Lars Hansen and his 11-piece big band, will take place at the popular live music venue in Queen Street on Thursday, January 28.
Edinburgh MC and broadcaster Lenny Love will also help the evening go with a swing, while a dance instructor will take newcomers through their paces at the beginning of the evening.
Bill McGregor, Operations Manager for The Jam House, said: “Ballroom dancing has become more popular over the past couple of years and, of course it is a great way to keep fit.
“With the option of the fine-dining restaurant, overlooking the dance hall and stage, it is a fantastic way to spend a Thursday night.”
Definitely Dancing takes place from 6pm-2am, with dance lessons being offered between 6:30pm-8pm. Admission is free before 10pm and £5 afterwards.
