Contestants present short improvisational solos, join in the group tap challenge and dance together. They also dance on the musical MIDITAP tm electronic floor.
Judges score the dancers on skill, originality and showmanship.
Special guests add to the evenings fun.
Come and support your local tap dancer or join in. No entry fee.
The top point winner in challenges I, II and III, is awarded a
$100 cash prize that night as one of the dancers who qualify to continue
to compete for the $1,000 cash prize to be awarded on
National Tap Dance Day Tuesday May 25th 2010.

Tap Dance Improvisation and challenge contest with new contestants and performances by guest dancers.
$100 top point prize. Dancers will qualify to return for simi finals April 30.

San Francisco Tap Challenge Semi Finals
The dancers who have qualified in rounds 1 and 2 will meet for the first time and compete in improvisation, challenge and group to qualify for the championship finals, with performances from guest dancers.
$100 top point prize. Dancers will qualify for the finals May 25th.
