Self-Storage Grand Opening Event in El Cajon
Extra Space Storage arrives at new location and hosts a grand opening event
El Cajon, California, January 19 -- Extra Space Storage, the nation’s second largest operator of self-storage facilities, has opened its newest location in El Cajon and is hosting a grand opening event from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on January 23, 2010.

The event will have classic seventies themes with classic cars on display from East County Car Club. Various hot rods and custom cars will be featured in this free event open to the public. The Classic Malt Shop, which has a large following, will also be at the location serving their delicious burgers to the first 200 people to complete a facility tour from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. There will be a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at noon in collaboration with the El Cajon Chamber of Commerce. In recognition of the grand opening, Extra Space Storage is offering First Month FREE on all units.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the El Cajon community and offer a safe, convenient place to store belongings at reasonable rates and with professional service,” said Wayne Battenberg, District Manager for Extra Space Storage of El Cajon. “The grand opening event is an exciting, fun way to introduce ourselves to the local area.”

The El Cajon property has a trained staff, state-of-the-art video surveillance and individual door alarm systems. It also accepts delivery packages for its tenants and is located at the intersection of E Main Street and 3rd Street in the heart of El Cajon.
“All of our sites have a complete selection of moving and packing supplies--from boxes to locks--to help you with the storage process,” said Battenberg.
The store, located at 1539 E Main St., El Cajon, CA 92021, contains 778 units, which are available in square footage sizes from 25 to 320. The units are rented monthly and are accessible seven days a week, 365 days a year.
According to Battenberg, Extra Space Storage of El Cajon has units for both residential and commercial storage solutions, including seasonal needs.
