FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan 19, 2010 -
Online Career Advancement, with instructors that have over twelve years of experience preparing students for computer-based testing, will be ready to assist GED test preparation teachers and centers with the new services planned by the American Council on Education (ACE). ACE offers the International GED Diploma via computer-based testing; these services will be available to GED test takers in the United States soon.

The primary mission of the Online Career Advancement GED training programs is to facilitate the attainment of knowledge and skills that will prepare participants for employment, higher level academic opportunities, and an enhanced overall learning experience.

The American Council on Education (ACE), developer of the GED tests, has solid plans to computerize the testing process in the US. In response, Online Career Advancement is developing programs that will prepare seekers of the GED credential for computer-based testing. The computer-based GED testing in the United States will most likely be administered through Prometric; the international GED is offered via Prometric computerized testing services.

Online Career Advancement’s staff has developed numerous computer-based programs for college students and professionals, since early 1996.

“The Online Career Advancement computer-based GED program will provide a solid foundation skills, knowledge, GED practice tests, and enhancement of basic computer skills for our participants in a richly interactive and supportive environment”, says Leonard Cox, lead program developer for Online Career Advancement.

Online Career Advancement will continue corresponding with the American Council on Education to keep up to date on the impending process and plans to implement computerized GED; their computerized GED training program will closely model the official standards and requirements of ACE.

Online Career Advancement’s computerized GED training program will open for registration soon; interested persons who join the Online Career Advancement mailing list via their website can select to register for a computerized GED preparation course at cost or obligation.

Contact Online Career Advancement for more information about the computerized GED preparation program.
