IMC Clubs Forms Partnership with SAFE

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 19, 2010 - IMCClubs.org formed an alliance with SAFE (Society of Aviation and Flight Educators). In the Letter of Understanding signed by Doug Steward – Chairmen of SAFE’s Board of Directors and Radek Wyrzykowski – President of IMCClubs.org both parties agreed to “promote aviation safety awareness, training and instrument proficiency to all airmen”. Under this agreement SAFE will also promote member participation in the IMC Club movement.

“It is a great milestone for us to receive an acknowledgement from such a prestigious aviation organization. People view both our organizations as major contributors to aviation safety.” – said Wyrzykowski

Among other developments IMCClubs.org has gained its own permanent office at the Norwood Flight Academy.  Norwood Flight Academy (NOFA) the premiere Boston area flight school contributed permanent use of its offices for IMCClubs operations. “I would like extend my sincere thanks to Mike Thomas – NOFA’s owner for his outstanding contribution to aviation safety by allowing us (IMCClubs.org) to have our own permanent address”.
