Journal Square Surgical Center (JSSC), a privately owned and operated ambulatory surgery center, has opened its doors in Jersey City, NJ to serve the growing needs of doctors and patients in the tri-state area. Equipped with the best modern medical technology has to offer, Journal Square Surgical Center’s state of the art, 16,000 square foot facility boasts 4 fully appointed major operating rooms, 1 GI suite, and 1 minor procedure area with an 18-bed recovery suite, equipped to accommodate patient stays up to 23 ½ hours. A wide variety of procedures are currently being performed at Journal Square Surgical Center, among them: Gastroenterological, Podiatric, Orthopedic, GYN, Pulmonological and General Surgeries, as well as Pain Management, ENT, Urologic, and Cosmetic procedures.
The JSSC team is lead by C.E.O. and Managing Partner Gary DiNardo and Dr. Athanasios Scinas, C.O.O./Managing Partner; Long-time Hoboken Family Practitioner Dr. Paul Teodoro has been named JSSC’s Medical Director; Jeffrey Shanton, an expert in insurance and legal issues governing the operation of ambulatory surgery centers, has been appointed Director of Business Development;
