The Miss Teen Kentucky-World organization has awarded Allie Katherine Eberly the local title of Miss Teen Somerset-World, 2010. She will now move forward to compete in the Miss Teen Kentucky-World pageant to be held on April 10, 2010, at 7 pm at the Center for Rural Development in Somerset, Kentucky. She is the daughter of Dr. Steven and Silver Eberly of Somerset. Allie, a 4.00 student at Pulaski County High School, is in the Honors Program, the Gifted and Talented Program, and has recently been selected as a member of Pulaski County’s Youth Leadership Team.

In addition to academics and community activities, Allie is a signed talent with Pinnacle 10 Modeling and Talent Agency in Louisville, KY. She has been the featured model in several ad campaigns promoting businesses and charity events throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana. In October, 2009, Allie joined models from throughout Kentucky and was a featured in a fashion runway charity event with proceeds to benefit the Kentucky Kidney Foundation. She is also a charter member, officer, and community representative in S.H.I.N.E. (Sisters Helping in a New Era), an organization whose purpose is to offer assistance to communities in need. Allie was recently recognized by Indiana University School of Medicine for organizing and conducting a rummage sale with proceeds being donated to Riley Children’s Hospital for Autism research. In order to raise public awareness and funding for Autism research, Miss Eberly has chosen Autism Speaks as her charity platform during her reign as Miss Teen Somerset-World, 2010.
Allie’s hobbies include drawing, creative writing, fly-fishing, boating, exercise and fitness, and following her favorite sports teams; Louisville Cardinals Basketball, Lindsey Wilson College Baseball, and Rhodes College Soccer.
