The Englishbox operates like a virtual classroom. The student chooses an online English lesson and participates via video chat. The Englishbox offers all the features found in a real lesson. Students learn English by communicating with the teacher over a webcam. A multimedia interactive whiteboard enables English presentations of text, pictures, PowerPoint presentations and video, all of which help to facilitate the learning process. A private chat facility supports communication between the student and the teacher.
Tomas Busse, the co-founder of Englishbox explained, “When we created the English box, creating a connection between real people was one of our priorities.
