The Brescia Systems incorporates a combination of machinery and chemistry to etch the surface of concrete pavers during the manufacturing process. This technology yields an unlimited variation in the surface appearance of the concrete paver by revealing the surface of the cured concrete and exposing the aggregates within the matrix.
While Brescia was designed for concrete paver producers who employ “face mix” technology in their plants, Brescia can also greatly enrich the look and feel of this already aesthetically charged product in standard paver manufacturing operations. Brescia is an optimal performance system that is easily incorporated into an existing production line and eliminates the need for additional labor in double handling of the material.
Architects and landscape designers will now be able to dramatically increase their creativity and flexibility when incorporating these finishes into their projects. The surface etch is ideal for commercial, institutional, municipal, and residential construction that have a need for an imaginative appearance and slip resistance.
