Mirae Asset Global Investments (“Mirae Asset” or the “Company”) would like to congratulate Ms. Shin Ji-yai, who is sponsored by the Company, on winning the 2009 HSBC Women’s Champions on Sunday, 8 March in Singapore, with the winning score of 11 under par 277.
Ms. Shin became an official member of the LGPA Tour this season, after winning three LGPA titles, including the British Open, last year. She signed a five-year sponsorship contract with Mirae Asset, the investment arm of one of Asia’s leading independent financial services companies, on 6 February 2009. Under the contract, Ms. Shin will get paid W1 billion annually with additional bonuses of up to W500 million depending on performance.
