On 13,Dec,2007,the sixth peacekeeping police anti-riot force team arrived in Haiti and then they started their peacekeeping mission of 8 months.Jianqin Zhong was one of them and news officer.In April,2008,the Haiti riot had become the focus of the world.A senator was surrounded by these angry demonstrators on his way home and in the afternoon his assistant was killed.During rescuing,facing opponent snipers,Zhong ,who was next to the senator——less than 1 meter,took out camera to record the precious time.One hand for gun,one hand for camera.
It was his main job to record all the works and news of anti-riot force teams and to show their spirit to all Chinese and all of the world.For more comprehensive records,Zhong must to see more violent scenes than others.But on these violent scenes,Zhong chose to take pictures ceaselessly and quickly."Recording that means giving up protecting himself." Zhong never touched daughter's face.
Zhong wanted to have a baby for a long time.But for peacekeeping,working,this thing was delayed again and again.Until August,2008,Zhong completed peacekeeping mission and got back to China,the couple finally decided to have baby.
When the happy couple were preparing for baby birth,the eighth peacekeeping police anti-riot force team was to be built up.On 13,June,2009,Zhong was sent to Haiti again as a member of the team.4days later,.his daughter came the world.
Zhong was excited about this good news and face-to-face networking was one of his biggest joys. For time difference,Zhong only had one hour to see his baby after off work——because at that time it was daybreak in China and wife Honghui Xu would take daughter to the computer before going to work.
Zhong's daughter is 8-month old but her has not had a name yet.It is said that wife once made a name for daughter but Zhong rejected it.Zhong wanted to name her by himself when he came back.
