The Cellar Conducts Search For Longest Married Couple For Valentine’s Day

With divorce at an all-time high and our culture’s idea of romance all too often inspired by episodes of “The Bachelor,” “Rock of Love” and MTV’s “Real World,” one Orange County restaurant is conducting a search for the longest married couple in hopes of unlocking the secrets to a successful relationship. The Cellar, considered one of Orange County’s most romantic dining destinations, will host the finalists to a special luncheon on Thursday, February 11 at 11:30 a.m. where they will be invited to share their experiences, wisdom and advice in all matters of love and commitment.  All will receive dinners for two that they may enjoy on the dates of their anniversaries. Those wishing to be considered are asked to submit a photocopy of their marriage license along with their name and daytime phone number to longestmarried@frankgroffinc.com or via fax (562) 438-1188 no later than Tuesday, Feb 9 (all finalists must attend the Feb. 11 luncheon to be considered.)
“What better time than Valentine’s Day to uncover the secrets to a long and happy relationship,” said The Cellar’s 33-year-old owner Ryan Dudley, who was recently engaged to be married.  “I have a selfish reason for sponsoring this contest but I think that everyone will be able to take away something from our promotion.”
