What Differences are in Drug Treatment Centers?

Individuals who are addicted to drugs have a blurred vision of both their personal and social existence.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan 18, 2010 -
Individuals who are addicted to drugs have a blurred vision of both their personal and social existence. They go through life in a bubble that takes them to a high every day of their lives and there is no hope for being released from that bubble except for a drug treatment center.
Individuals who resort to drug abuse do not take time to consider that they are dealing in illegal activities and if caught, can go to jail. In fact, this is the last thing from their minds. They would rather take that risk than to stop their drug addiction and abuse. They find the drug addiction captivating, releasing them from the pressures of life and giving them a sense of freedom from pain. The last thing on their minds is giving up their drug habit and that is why it is not easy to get these individuals into a drug treatment center. Some are not even willing to accept the fact that they do have a problem and that they need the help.
They will find all kinds of reasons and excuse not to go into treatment until they are ready. They will end up using so much drugs that it begins to affect their health and their very existence. They become isolated and depressed. Some have anxiety attacks and paranoia. They live their lives in fear of the unknown and a drug treatment center is not something that they want to add to their list of fears.
There is a stark difference between a faith based drug treatment center compared to the traditional one as it pertains to structure, organization and principles. The traditional rehab program involves the routine detox services, medical care, therapy and counseling. However, the faith based treatment program adds to the list an important aspect of getting clean, which comprises of spiritual awareness and getting to the inner core of the problem. The person is not only able to detox, receive medical care, therapy and counseling, but they are able to find their spiritual awakening and learn more about their internal thoughts and how it has a lot to do with their behavior.
The spiritual unlocking begins when the individuals is introduced to the Word of God at the drug treatment center. They are able to utilize what they have learned by applying it to their current situation to make the required change. They understand the fullness of God and how his power can help to strengthen their resolve to get better and be able to lead a more productive and normal life after treatment.
They are given a hope that is lasting because it puts them into the light of knowing who to go to for help when they fail and that they are not alone in this world, but there is God and people that he uses to bless others. The idea of carrying this burden alone is no longer a reality after they are involved in a faith based treatment program that works.
