Selfless service, sacrifice, long days and many days away from home are all typical among the men and women of our military. Yet, they rarely receive the thanks and appreciation they clearly deserve. Every day our service members return home to their regular lives and struggle to live day to day. Although there were plenty military education benefits probably available to them, they had no idea how to use them, how to access them, or where to get started. Knowledge is Power is working to put an end to that.
Knowledge is Power is a new organization behind the Scholarships4Military project, a unique vision that was brought to life after 2nd Lt. James Michael Goins was killed in Iraq. Not only can military members learn the facts about their military education benefits, but the organization is also awarding $1,500 military scholarships. Active duty, veterans, retired, and military family members are all eligible to apply for these military scholarships.
Military scholarships isn’t the only purpose of Knowledge is Power. Here, military members can finally have an easy way of taking advantage of their benefits. They can also be connected to military-friendly colleges that are actively seeking applicants in their situation. The team behind Knowledge is Power are all college graduates who have worked with education for over three decades and have been helping to create awareness for military members for over half a decade.
