So what was it all about? . . . well despite weather being absolutely awful, action taking DJ Tim had been so moved by the reports coming out of Haiti that he opted to do a sponsored sprint around Nottingham's Market Square in his underpants in a bid to raise money for the charity Medecins Sans Frontieres (UK) Charity Registration No. 1026588
Despite Tim's offer that anyone was welcome to join him on the run in their underpants he found himself alone in that regard!
The route took Tim from Beast Market Hill, along Long Row and Smithy Row, down the High Street and then back along Poultry and South Parade. After this feat Tim remarked "Quite a few people ran away from me in shock. The police stopped me to shake my hand."
If you have not already donated to the Haiti disaster then why not add to Tim's 'JustGiving' account. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
