WHO’S WHO CELEBRATES SUCCESSFUL YOUNG BUSINESS LEADERS IN 2010.
Being a Director of a company is a position that many young career hungry and aspirational individuals have in their sights. For some, it’s the money, for others, the status and for others still, it’s the desire to create a business from nothing. One thing is for sure, a company directorship is typically a title to be proud of.
But how many of these young people in the UK actually make it? Research undertaken by Who’s Who Publications PLC states there are 620,000 Company Officers in the UK aged 35 or under. Further analysis of their companies, identifying where a company has a value over £75,000 and a net worth which has increased year on year, and by applying some basic rules to remove companies that may not be financially stable or who are not complying with Government rules and obligations at Companies House, the final elite selection is complete.
In the latest edition of the Young Business Leaders 2010 book, due to be published in February 2010, Who’s Who Publications PLC will feature just over 17,000 individuals, less than 3% of all Directors in the 35 and under category. This new launch follows the success of the last edition of this popular title – Young Business Leaders 2009.
