The Everest Foundation Nepal"s orphanage Home is located in the Kathmandu Valley. Many of our children have endured more suffering in their young lives than some of us experience in a lifetime. The Everest Foundation Nepal provides the 12 youngsters housed there now with fundamental needs: education, health care and the resources for their all-round development. They are among the lucky ones, saved from life on the streets, domestic slavery and vulnerability to child traffickers. The Nepali government has opened just one state run orphanage, large enough to serve just 350 children.
The Everest Foundation Nepal's orphanage home is about to expand to larger quarters. Its founders believe that love, security and education are essential rights of all children as well as key components to their ability to thrive, contribute to and compete in the world. We are dedicated to the welfare of orphaned, abandoned and destitute children by providing them living, educational, and medical expenses, as well as love and personal attention—just as a good parent would do.
We commit to them for the long term, from childhood through high school, and provide what is usually the first real sense of security in their lives.Won't you help us care for these children and give them the future they deserve? Your dollar will never go further than in Nepal where the average annual income is just $240 a year.
