The 2010 CIO Government Summit will bring together the nation’s top IT executives from the government sector, including state, city and county CIOs, to address technology trends and challenges. The CIO Government Summit team is pleased to announce the latest additions to the agenda, including an opening keynote speech from Chad Kirkpatrick, Director of Arizona’s Government Information Technology Agency (GITA) and an executive keynote presentation from Chuck Prow, Managing Partner, Public Sector, IBM Global Business Services. The event will be held on May 23-26, 2010 at the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, AZ.
Attendees of the 2010 CIO Government Summit will include CIOs, IT thought-leaders, research analysts, and executives from the industry’s most influential IT organizations. The CIO Government Summit is designed to provide CIOs and senior level IT executives a platform for idea sharing and peer-to-peer interaction. The strategic agenda, which includes workshops, panel discussions, keynote presentations and case studies, is developed specifically to address attendees’ technology initiatives and priorities.
Chad Kirkpatrick is a director of GITA, which was created in 1996 to serve as Arizona's official entity for strategic planning and coordination of all state information technology. He oversees day-to-day operations of IT coordination and planning, IT project review and monitoring, and maintenance of e-government. Kirkpatrick will give the CIO Government Summit’s welcome address on Sunday, May 23, 2010.
Chuck Prow is a Managing Partner, Public Sector at IBM Global Business Services (GBS). Prow has more than 27 years of government experience and is responsible for IBM’s $2.5 billion dollar U.S. GBS public sector services business, which includes federal, state, local, education, and healthcare markets. Prow’s highly anticipated keynote speech will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 following a gala dinner.
