Marc said "Hey I am still learning myself, and if anyone says marketing on Facebook is easy then they are even in the early stages of network marketing and trying to prove themselves, or they do not get the concept of a Facebook friend to a business lead".
Marc also added "I’m serious, I was chatting to a young guy on Facebook the other day and he was telling me how well he was doing with social media. He started off with his ihavethebestbizop link, but like I always do, I like to get to know the person and ask him questions. I asked him how he go about’s marketing his business, and he said mainly social media, so I asked his results he said ”On Xing about 50 leads per day, Facebook 20, MySpace 20 and Twitter 100 a day.”
Wow this guy must be good, so I thought until I checked out his Facebook and Twitter profile. He has only 350 followers on Twitter and 250 friends on Facebook. So by doing the math this really does not add up"
So this leads Marc on to the 5 things not to say on Facebook:
1: Take a look at my business (Marc must get around 3-5 biz ops links a day)
2: This business is better than what you are doing (aren’t they all)
3: Join us NOW…Ground floor opportunity (aren’t they all)
4: I am creating 100 leads a day for free are you? (Wow, I spoke to him the other day I think)
5: Visit my Blog (Why?)
Weather you are a newbie or not, if you go about marketing on Facebook like this, Marc promises you it will get you no where. All it will do is turn people off. Marc said "Going to put my hands up here guys and tell you this is how I started off when I started network marketing on FB and it got me NOWHERE".
One of the great ways to market on FB is by giving value, and also by giving away to people your best stuff. For Marc he love's to help people in social media, so he gives them all what he has learnt and all the tools which have helped him along the way.
