The Cochin- Colombo cruise sets off from the Port of Cochin on Sundays at 18.00 hours and the cruise liner reaches Colombo on Tuesday at 14.00 hrs. Maldives, is a chain of over 1200 islands, most of them uninhabited and unexplored. The departure is at 17.30 hours on Wednesdays from Cochin port and it reaches Maldives at 17.00 hrs on Friday where you can explore lagoons, underwater coral gardens and sandy beaches. The cruise liner leaves on Saturdays to the Cochin port at 15.00 hrs.
The Director of Karma Kerala, Thejal Vasudevan opined that the introduction of cruise deals might bring further impetus to the tourism prospects of Kerala as it is adding cruise holidays too to the interesting Kerala itinerary comprising of expansive backwaters, hills stations, back water cruises, beaches, nature parks and village tours.
