Aussie music artist Anthony Snape will be bringing his unique style of acoustic pop music to Chicago’s Trump Towers ”Escape the Winter: Experience Australia” event this Month.
Snape, who has been touring the US since opening for guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel, first played Chicago to a packed house at The Park West Theater in 2008. His impact that night sent the unsuspecting audience into a spin as they cleaned out the artist’s merchandise taking home every Anthony Snape album that was in reach.
Often compared to the likes of Rob Thomas, Sting, John Mayer and Australian voices John Farnham, Rick Price and Jack Jones, Anthony’
“Experience Australia” is the brainchild of Executive Chef Frank Brunacci of Sixteen – the chic restaurant at Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago. Last year, Chef Brunacci, a native of Melbourne, had a vision for commemorating Australia Day while supporting local charity Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.
Anthony will be playing a 1pm and 3pm show and will be joined onstage by Aussie songstress Claire Wyndham for a well rounded Australian flavored performance that will warm your hearts and frozen bones.
