Cobrinha is world renown for his specialty, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Saturday January 9th Cobrinha schooled more than ten students in several advanced moves "with Gi". Sunday, January 10th more than 15 attended the clinic and moves were demonstrated "without Gi". A Gi is the Jiu-Jitsu kimono worn during training and combat. Overall approximately twenty moves were demonstrated. Cobrinha took students through each move, step-by-step, using an attendee as a simulated competitor. Students were paired according to height and weight, and then practiced the moves. Cobrinha mentored each pair as they practiced. After both sessions, Cobrinha and individual students grappled in mock combat.
