Crying Cougar Press Announces Fantastic Contest for Young Readers!

Crying Cougar press, publisher of the popular Y/A fantasy adventure series, Conor and the Crossworlds, announces a fantastic contest for young readers. Name the Next Champion allows entrants to help Kevin Gerard name the next major story character.

Jan. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Author Kevin Gerard explains this new and exciting contest:

"Remember how I created the names for all of the Champions, by jumbling up the letters of their real names? These are called anagrams, and I want you to use an anagram to create the name of the next Champion!

"Purugama came from the words cougar and puma. Surmitang came from the words Sumatran tiger. Therion came from the words Pantheria Leo.

"Get the idea? The next Champion will be a wolf, so you need to use these words to create a name for him - Timber Wolf.

"Whoever creates the coolest name will win a signed copy of Book Four: Charge of the Champions, AND they could see the name they created in Book Six. So put your thinking caps on and e-mail me your entries. Contest ends March 31, 2010.

"Some of the best names so far are; Rimbolt, Wolfmire, Timbolf, Tolif, and Tirolf. I love it when young readers use their imaginations, so come up with a good name and e-mail to kgauthor@conorandthecrossworlds.com"

Crying Cougar Press welcomes all entries until the closing date of the contest, March 31, 2010.
