TULSA, OKLAHOMA, January 2010 – Lacey Lamm, General Manager of the Hilton Tulsa Southern Hills hotel, was recently elected chairperson of the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association (OH&LA).
In assuming this title, Lamm has become the first woman elected into this position throughout the 36-year history of the association.
Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association is the formal trade association of the Oklahoma lodging industry and state partner of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA). The OH&LA promotes good will and professionalism across the lodging industry, as well as provides educational, technical, operational and marketing support throughout Oklahoma. Additionally, the OH&LA provides legislative representation on behalf of Oklahoma's entire lodging industry.
Lamm boasts over 10 years of service in the hospitality industry with considerable experience in select service, full service and extended-stay hotels. As Vice President of Operations for Packard Hospitality Group (PHG), Lamm oversees all aspects of hotel operations in the Midwest region. This includes: operating systems and procedures, maintaining brand standards, quality assurance and guest satisfaction programs for all managed and asset-managed hotels. Lamm is also the General Manager of the Hilton Tulsa Southern Hills.
In addition to her new designation as Chairperson of the OH&LA, Lamm also serves the community in her positions as: Past President of the Tulsa Hotel & Lodging Association, Executive Committee Member for Visit Tulsa and a member of the hospitality education advisory committees for Tulsa Community College and Hale High School.
