Every one wants to loose weight but I would say you should go for healthy weight loss. There are various steps to follow if you want your weight loss strategy to work for you. First of all you should remember that there is no shortcut to success, you have to work for it and work really hard combined with the systematic procedures and medication. I am going to discuss some useful tips regarding weight loss.
1.)Don’t skip meals--- One of the worst thing in weight loss is ignorance, some people think that skipping meals is one of the strategies of the weight loss, but what they don’t know is that this may have the reverse effect. Skipping meals forces your body to go into the “starvation mode”, so it tries to hang on to the weight you’re trying lose. Another problem with skipping meals is that by the time you do get around to eating, you’ll probably overeat, making up for the calories you skipped earlier
2.) Practice portion control--- Being aware of how much we eat is as important as what we eat. We should visualize healthy servings and put sensible portions into our plate.
3.) Consume More Whole Grains--- Grains, fruits, and vegetables are nutrient rich, low in calories and fat, and high in fiber, which allows you to eat more of them, more often, without gaining weight. Adding more whole grains and produce to your diet is essential for healthy weight loss and could do wonders for your weight loss plan.
4.) Read Food Labels--- Understanding your diet is easy and critical for your weight loss plan. With this knowledge you could easily count and compare your calories and make intelligent choices for your menu.
5.) Water, water and more water—I suggest you drink atleast 10 glasses of water each day but try to spread this consumption throughout the day.You may also prevent overeating by staying well-hydrated.
6.) Snack Between Meals--- Instead of main three meals you should divide your meal into parts and eat every three to four hours. Eat snacks between your main three, this will help to maintain proper blood sugar levels and also prevent you from getting over hungry and eventually overeating. Choose your snacks intelligently and wisely for example apple which is high in fibre is an excellent between meals.
7. Get Some Exercise
Whenever I say exercise many people mistake it for running marathons or spending hours in gyms lifting weight. Work your way up to 30 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week. It’s important that you go at your own pace. It won’t do you any good to push yourself so hard you end up dreading your workouts, leading you to skip them.
