The Hotel Los Gigantes in Tenerife has reportedly been hit with an outbreak of sickness over the past few weeks with guests suffering gastric symptoms of diarrhoea and vomiting.
Large numbers of guests are affected and even holiday representatives appear to have fallen foul to the problem.
Commenting, Morton says "My advice to anyone returning from this resort that has suffered illness is to consult their GP as soon as possible to confirm exactly what their illness was and then seek legal advice regarding possible compensation. Holidaymakers should retain any evidence of illness such as receipts from chemists, doctor's prescriptions and copies of complaints made to tour representatives at the time."
If the source of the outbreak is found to be the Hotel then holidaymakers may be entitled to claim compensation.
