Hooks Enterprises, an internet business development company, will be filing lawsuits against multiple parties, including a Nevada business holding company that purchased a majority of its business from in 2009 and failed to deliver on its contractual obligations. Hooks Enterprises will also be suing multiple clients for undisclosed reasons.
Against the Nevada business holding company, Hooks Enterprises will be seeking damages for breach of contract, failure to perform contractual duties, numerous violations of the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act, business disparagement and tortious interference. Damages sought include restitution to past Hooks Enterprises clients, Hooks Enterprises itself, and court costs.
Over the course of the next few weeks, Hooks Enterprises will also be seeking unspecified damages from multiple former clients, the identities of whom will not be released.
Due to the sensitive nature of the lawsuits, Hooks Enterprises will be maintaining the confidentiality of the parties it is filing lawsuits against and will withhold specifics for the time being.
