A few points of wear you should check on any used bulldozer include interior, exterior, and under the hood. Exterior items to check include head lights, couplers, hydraulic lines and reservoirs, blade assembly, reflectors, and the general condition of the cab. Interior parts that are worth inspecting include mirrors, brakes, steering, seat belts, safety devices, and instrument panels. When looking at a bulldozer engine the following items should be well maintained: belt tension, batteries, radiator fan, motor oil levels, an hoses. Under the category of miscellaneous equipment, check the exhaust system, winch, fire extinguisher, tracks, transom, and transmission.
