Kerala Rated 23rd Best Tourist Destination In The World!

Jan. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Kerala tourism saw new heights when it was rated the world’s 23rd best tourist destination by the National Geographic Center for Sustainable Destinations.

There are a lot of things happening in Kerala which contribute to presenting this Southern state of India the rating. The State’s tourism is flying high. There was a string of road shows which the tourism ministry held all over Europe as a part of the campaign to promote tourism in the State. The next round of road shows will be held in Italy, France and Australia.

The state continues its efforts by bringing home luxury in the form of sea cruises by leading online travel portals like http://www.karmakerala.com. This rating from the National Geographic has had a positive effect on the sea cruise tourism the state is aiming for, at the present.
