UniKey software protection hardware key
The software is 3D Professional Software with dongle for sale as USB copy protection method. Customers can choose the right software to create the perfect projects for every member of the family. Customers need to have Windows XP running at its full capacity on the computer. Customers purchase the software with the embroidery machine together. The software needs to be upgraded through internet which will work on any of the embroidery machines to make the latest software available. Normally the updates will have to be purchased through the software vendor or distributor with a cost.
The stand-alone package includes a dongle. Not only does this protect the software from piracy, but also it can apply a time limit to the software, and control the software behaviour. The dongle can be re-programmed remotely, for example to remove a time limit, or add another module. Therefore, if customers have purchased new modules, or have agreed with the software suppliers that the characteristics of the software should change, they can update the software remotely in a very simple way.
First, open the secure Update program supplied with the software, clicking the remote update program item.
Then plug the USB copy protection dongle into the USB port of the computer.
Click the generate request code, save it into the computer.
Unplug the dongle.
An email will be reach to the customers to get the update code.
Once again, customers plug the USB copy protection dongle into the computer.
Open the update code, activate it.
The dongle should be updated.
Open the software, the customer will noticed that it works with new behavior.
