While most businesses are cutting back on expenses, luxuries and even charitable donations, PostcardMania continues to keep its doors open to charities and non-profit organizations in need, despite the current economic situation.
For years now PostcardMania CEO, Joy Gendusa, has been giving back in exchange for the success she has received. In 2005 she set up a division within her company with the sole purpose of handling pro-bono work for non-profit organizations — the only stipulation being that these organizations have the purpose of assisting mankind to improve his lot and make the world a better place. In sync with this, PostcardMania donates the design, printing and mailing services of hundreds of thousands of postcards, flyers, brochures, programs, pamphlets, etc. for non-profit organizations all over the country.
“There are a lot of good organizations, if given a chance, can make a big difference,”
In 2008, PostcardMania donated a total of 207,500 printed pieces. This year, 2009, PostcardMania has donated a total of 371,000 printed pieces!
Through their donations, PostcardMania has helped many groups that span the full gamut of humanitarianism from the arts, to education, to human rights and even military morale. Some of the groups include:
· American Cancer Society - Relay For Life
· Clearwater Veterans Alliance
· Make-A-
· Citizens Commission for Human Rights
