The Florida Brain Tumor Association and Moffitt Cancer Center will host their annual 2 day interactive brain tumor conference. The event is designed to empower patients and their families with cutting edge information on the latest technologies and coping strategies. More than twenty leading experts, neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists and neuro- psycholigists, representing the most elite brain tumor centers across the USA will lead discussions and answer questions.

· Childhood brain tumors are the LEADING cause of death in children 21 yrs and younger.
· Brain tumors occur in an organ that is enclosed in a bony housing that allows little room for growth of the tumor without compressing and damaging normal brain.

· The World Health Organization lists over 130 central nervous system tumors.
