The casts are physical representations of a simple truth ~ because breast cancer attacks all women (and men) without prejudice. It is the powerful individual presence in all those afflicted that will fight it and conquer it. The Lasting Mammories fund-raiser and The Pink Ribbon Diva Foundation's (501-C3 pending) goal is to bring a fresh perspective to this important cause in a way that is relevant and inspiring to all those affected by breast cancer.

The mission of Lasting Mammories is to raise funds for everyday added/extra expenses associated with breast cancer, such as: travel costs, extra heating, special foods, prescriptions or simply to help with rent & utilities or groceries while patients cannot work and may be waiting for disability to kick-in. Cancer can & does leave you with lost wages and extra expenses not covered by insurance or other programs and that's where this fundraiser comes in.
There are tons of charities out there that support prevention & treatment but none that I know of that support the everyday aspects of those living and surviving with breast cancer, states Traci Pena, Foundation Founder.
