"Candy Man Blues" some of the only live guitar played in the Oscar Winning movie "Walk the Line" (Reese Witherspoon, Joaquin Phoenix) was indeed performed by Jon Saint LaFleur but it doesn't stop there.
Jon's history as a guitarist and artist go back to when he was only 12 years old on stage with legends like B.B. King, Albert Collins, Delbert McClinton, Merle Haggard, Chet Atkins and more recent in years Rascal Flatts , Joe Nichols and New country mega star Luke Bryant.
Having said all that he's still a humble and super nice guy. Jon say's the Album is a recollection of his childhood growing up in the juke joints of Mississippi. "I want to try my best to make folks feel the way I do when I listen to the blues" Jon says.
Jon is also in talks with Ralph Macchio (yes, The Karate Kid) about future roles in an upcoming movie about a magic guitar slide found in Mississippi. Ralph Macchio played Eugene, a young blues guitarist in the 1986 movie "Crossraods"
