Skate-A-Date is a unique date idea for New York visitors and locals alike, with a package price that won’t break the bank. A romantic evening skating and dining at Rockefeller Center is the perfect way to enjoy one of Manhattan’s most iconic landmarks.
“The Ice Rink is one of the most romantic places in New York, and holding hands on the ice never loses its charm,” said Nick Valenti, CEO of Patina Restaurant Group, which operates The Ice Rink and its surrounding restaurants, The Sea Grill and Rock Center Café.
Ideal for couples, the Skate-A-Date package offers a two-course dinner at Rock Center Cafe prepared by executive chef Antonio Prontelli, and VIP skating—which allows rink-goers to skip the lengthy lines and enjoy an indefinite amount of time on the ice.
The Skate-A-Date package can be reserved for the special price of $80 (tax, tip and skate rentals excluded) from Monday, January 11 through early April.
The menu is included below. Recipes, photos and interviews are available upon request.
The Rink at Rockefeller Center is located on 5th Avenue between 49th and 50th Streets. Guests can book reservations by calling Rock Center Cafe at (212) 332-7620. For more information, please visit www.therinkatrockcenter.com.
