Tasty changes at Arch House Deli

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 8, 2010 - The middle of a recession, 6 weeks before Christmas and with no direct experience in the industry hardly sounds like the recipe for success in buying into a luxury delicatessen in leafy Clifton Village, Bristol.  This is exactly what David Greenman and Debbie Atherton did and whilst they admit it’s been a steep learning curve they have loved the experience and are looking forward to making their own mark on the business in 2010.  In early November David and Debbie bought Arch House Deli (http://www.archhousedeli.com), Bristol, the beautifully decorated and appointed delicatessen that recently featured on BBC’s ‘The Restaurant’ programme with Raymond Blanc, and have just completed their first hectic Christmas period.  
David and Debbie have lived and worked in Bristol for over thirteen years having held directorships in smartFOCUS PLC a local firm that they helped grow from a start-up through to flotation on the stock market.   The duo plan to utilise their business acumen and love of food to develop Arch House Deli through 2010.
“I’m so excited about this, I’m an avid home-cook and foodie blogger and passionate about how we can bring gourmet foods and wine to our Customers to enhance the home-dining experience, as well as continue to create exquisite dishes for our Café and Deli.” – Debbie.
Arch House Deli already supply a wide range of high quality products to the residents of Clifton Village, including Cheese, Charcuterie, Wine, Antipasti, Confectionery, and a selection of seasonal dishes prepared by the in-house Chef.  David and Debbie plan to build on the existing product range with an emphasis on locally sourced goods, organic and fair-trade products where ever possible, as well as adding products suitable for different dietary requirements.
“The existing team have been very supportive and have helped us get up to speed quickly.  Being able to meet our Customers to discuss their ideas and suggestions has been a fantastic help in putting together our plans for the Deli in 2010” – David.
