Professional Speaker Paul Lawrence Vann Delivers Black History Month Speeches

With the holiday season behind us, America is preparing to pay tribute to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Black History Month is just around the corner and Black History is American History.

The new year ushered in a new decade and America has a lot to be grateful for.  January represents the month Americans celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  

To help organizations and individuals learn more about the contributions of African Americans, Paul Lawrence Vann is a Dr. King and Black History Month expert. Few if any, possess the expertise Paul has because he has researched and spoken on prominent people such as Rosa Parks and Dr. King.

On January 13, 2010, at 1:30 pm, Paul Lawrence Vann is the keynote speaker for  the Office of Personnel Managment (OPM). In the spirit of community and compassion OPM will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in “Recognizing the Compassion and Power of the Dream,” in the Campbell Auditorium.

This event will present National Dr. King legacy speaker, author, motivator and “America’s Prince of Possibilities” Mr. Paul Lawrence Vann, along with Raymond P. Moore from the National Memorial Project Foundation who’ll provide us with an update on the National MLK Memorial Project.  

Audience members will also be blessed with special musical guest D.C. Washington of the nationally known Cathedral Choral Society and frequent singer of the national anthem for the Washington Redskins and the Washington Nationals.        

There will also be an opportunity for participation in the “OPM Dream Maker Challenge” to help the agency meet its Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) financial goal. What is wonderful about OPMs program is the fact, there campaign assist in making someone’s dreams come true through a suggested CFC donation through the OPM Dream Maker Challenge and gain a keepsake photoholder and other special recognition.

All donations will go to the CFC undesignated fund which helps all CFC agencies. OPM employees can help others become a Dream Maker.
