Mahindra & Mahindra, one of India’s leading auto brands, is showcasing its entire portfolio of vehicles from two wheelers to trucks, including 14 under production vehicles and 3 concept vehicles at the Auto Expo 2010.
The vehicles showcased include the Mahindra Rodeo, the Mahindra Duro and the Mahindra Flyte, along with a concept bike from Engines Engineering. Also on display is the hugely successful GIO, the Alfa Hydrogen Passenger, the Logan Tourer and the newly launched Maxximo including its battery operated model. Taking pride of place at the Mahindra stall is the iconic Scorpio in a new limited edition, India’s leading UV, the Bolero and the stylish XYLO. The entire range of commercial vehicles from the Mahindra Navistar stable has also been unveiled at the Expo for the first time.

Mahindra 2 Wheelers
The Mahindra Two Wheelers pavilion includes the Power Scooters range consisting of the Mahindra Rodeo, the Mahindra Duro and the Mahindra Flyte, as well as a concept bike created by Engines Engineering, the company’s R&D partner. Also on display is a concept scooter.

Mahindra & Mahindra Automotive
The Mahindra & Mahindra pavilion reflects the theme of Automotive 3600 with its wide array of products that spans the entire transport eco-system.
On display is the Hy-Alfa, a hydrogen fueled passenger three-wheeler, as well as the Mahindra GIO – India’s first compact truck.
The much awaited Maxximo, which boasts of the world’s most advanced engine in the mini-truck segment, also made its debut at the Expo. The battery operated concept model was also displayed.
The Logan Tourer (displayed at the Renault stall) is a special edition vehicle from the Mahindra Renault stable. The Tourer, which has been co-branded in association with VIP, India’s leading luggage brand, is ideal for long family drives. It offers a high level of fuel efficiency, comfort and space. It also comes with luggage specially designed for the Logan by VIP, making it the ideal long drive car.
The main attraction at the UV zone is undoubtedly the iconic Mahindra Scorpio in a brand new Special Edition and its existing concept Limo version.
The Mahindra Scorpio Special Edition boasts of a high luxury quotient with special trimmings and finish, premium fabrics and high quality accessories. The fact that only 1000 Special Edition vehicles will be made only adds to the exclusivity factor.
The Scorpio that sped to victory in the gruelling Raid de Himalaya Rally is also on display, along with a cross section of the international version of this cult SUV.
The UV zone also illustrates the Bolero journey through the years, right from the Armada to its present day avatar, giving visitors an idea of the evolution of the Bolero brand through the years.
The Mahindra Thar, a contemporary rendition of the classic MM540 and a derivative of the globally renowned CJ5, is sure to draw the attention of die-hard offroaders. This cult classic comes with a legacy of proven design that’s made for adventure.
The UV display culminates with the showcasing of the Mahindra XYLO, perhaps India’s first Sedan Plus vehicle that offers the ultimate combination of luxury and power.
Mahindra Navistar Automotives Limited
Mahindra Navistar is showcasing its array of commercial vehicles, which includes 25 and 31 tonne trucks, 25 and 40 tonne tippers, a 49 tonne tractor and a 32-seater bus. These trucks have been designed, developed and tested for Indian roads and are capable of navigating through the toughest terrain. The new product range will be engineered to meet Indian truck requirements with the technological expertise of Navistar combining the local market knowledge of the Mahindra Group.
