Essex Bank announced that Charles J. “Chuck” Fleury, IV was named Vice President for Commercial Lending in the Bank’s Maryland market beginning January 5, 2010. He has been involved in commercial lending operations for over 40 years. Chuck was formerly Senior Vice President for Commercial Lending with Bay National Bank, Vice President of Commercial Lending with Allfirst Bank, and Vice President of Commercial Lending at BB&T. He has managed multi-million dollar portfolios, and he has originated, underwritten, and developed new commercial banking relationships. Chuck is currently on the board and Treasurer for The Greater Towson Committee and a board member for Wiltondale Community Association. Chuck earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Towson University and completed the Bank Management Program at Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.
