Gainesville Woman Poised to Become the Newest American Singing Sensation.

Marcee Lee Boyle of Gainesville,Florida,better known as Marcee Lee Winthrop, is definately pulling out all the stops in preparing to shine vocally with her incredibly powerful voice when she participates in the auditions for "America's Got Talent" in Orlando,Florida on Feb 13-14.She is practicing to simply wow the judges with her rendition of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" that she hopes will be as much of a trademark for her as "I Dreamed A Dream" has been for Susan Boyle. By the way,even though both women share the same last name,they are not related.In fact,Boyle was the last name of Marcee's husband(who is no longer with her).After having been abandoned by her husband in early March of last year,Marcee has not used the name of Boyle ,except on official papers. She prefers to be called Winthrop and has family tree charts that proves her descent from Anne Winthrop(sister of Governor John Winthrop of Boston,Mass).Her family tree charts actually goes all the way back to 1045 A.D. on her mother's side and shows several illustrious ancestors.Marcee has lived much of her adult life under the poverty level but last year,she began to change her thinking after finding her ancestors on Ancestry.com. She began to believe in herself and her potential.Marcee decided to use her talents to get out of poverty---writing poems and singing.She has a book out called "POVERTY REVOLUTION:Part 1-Skimming the Surface" that is sold on Abebooks,Biblio,AddAll,Bookfinder.Last year,she gave 7 presentations for groups and associations on the University of Florida campus.Marcee was brand new to writing last year and yet managed to get 4 write-ups in local newspapers and 3 booksignings.Not bad for a beginner! Marcee believes that poetry and music could mix very well to create a show. Hooray to Marcee's success!
