Canada's First "Virus Insurance" offered by Innovative Montreal Company.
The cost of virus removal can be quite expensive. The "Geek people" at the Big Box Stores can charge anywhere from $250 for Virus Removal without data backup to $350 with data backup.
When the cost of a replacement laptop computer is $399 to $499 these charges are outrageous.
On the other hand you don't want to lose all your important work and you need your computer
back and working properly, so what do you do?
Ultrasoft Innovations is now offering "Virus Insurance". Like regular insurance you sign-up before
you have an incident (or in this case a virus). During the one-year coverage you can claim three
(3) times on one computer or one time each on three different computers.
The service covers laptops, notebooks, netbooks, desktops or towers. We can cover almost any
version of Windows from 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7. This is not an in-home service but an
in-store service where you drop off the affected computer and pickup next business day at 5PM.
If you bring along your own backup device (USB external Hard Disk Drive) then we can provide
backup services at no additional cost. Just the cost of backing up at other computer stores
will cover the costs of our virus insurance.
So what is the cost? $100 per year. If you would like free effective Anti-Virus Software installed
at the time of sign-up, which would include separate Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware and Anti-Malware
software, then there would be an additional $20 charge per computer to protect you.
Without virus insurance our Flat-Fee Virus Removal Service is $70.00 per incident.
Multiple that by 3x times and You do the Math.
