Uniting People Platform Supports Cnn Hero Of The Year 2009.

Last year, among all the projects that Uniting People supports, there was one project that is promoted by the young Philippine Efren Peñaflorida; CNN chose him as hero of the year 2009.

This project is focussing on providing shelter, health, hygiene, food and education to 1500 slum and street children. It has a network of 10.000 volunteers with weekly activities including a mobile school and Youth Empowerment activities with teen moral values in order to transform child gangs.
