(Cherry Hill, NJ) – The Hip Event announces the hire of Cheldin Barlatt Rumer and the addition of a Cherry Hill office which will expand the company's client base in the public relations, special events and lifestyle marketing fields into South Jersey and Philadelphia.
Rumer joins The Hip Event team as National Director of Business Development and will assist in developing new business opportunities and national relationships for the agency in addition to connecting current clients with larger marketing and event initiatives.

Rumer brings years of marketing and public relations experience to her new position at The Hip Event. In 2003, as the public relations and communications coordinator, she successfully launched the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlanitc City, New Jersey with both local and national public relations and marketing campaigns. As the director of Public Relations and Marketing for ECS Restaurant Group - Philadelphia, Rumer successfully launched stores and created consumer awareness through targeted grass roots marketing efforts. Her most recent venture as a marketing consultant, through i-g creative, allowed her execute and manage marketing programs for clients such as Image Graphics, One Financial Group, Sherman Properties Development Corporation and Bynum Hospitality.
With the addition of Rumer, The Hip Event also expands its offices to Cherry Hill, New Jersey, bringing company growth to the South Jersey and Philadelphia and markets. By creating a dual-city presence The Hip Event plans to expand their business, with a focus on target industries such as fashion, beauty, hospitality and entertainment, within greater local markets and connect businesses on a national level.
